Leadlight Classes

These 6 session classes will introduce you to the age-old craft of leadlight in a friendly and relaxed environment.

During the class you will create at least one leadlight panel and learn all the essential skills to continue this inspiring craft as a hobby.

Many of our students continue to attend subsequent classes to refine their skills and make beautiful leadlight panels for their homes and friends. You are welcome to attend as long as you wish to make use of our experience and equipment.

No previous experience is necessary.

Class Time
Tuesday Nights (6 weeks)
7.00pm - 9.30pm

Thursday Nights (6 weeks)
6.30pm – 9.00pm

The Cost
Tuition cost for the 6 sessions is $150.

You will need your own oil-filled glass cutter, grozing pliers, lead dyke and lathekin, all of which are available here at our workshop. The cost of these is $80.

The cost of materials for the set class project is $45.

CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
A deposit of $50 is required to secure a position in this workshop. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. The balance of the tuition fee is payable prior to commencement of the workshop.

All workshops have a minimum enrolment requirement. If we reschedule or cancel a workshop the deposit may be transferred to an alternative or rescheduled workshop or will be refunded, if preferred.

Intensive One Day Leadlight Class

This class is designed to cater for those who want to learn the fundamentals of leadlighting but don't have time each week for our night or day classes. It is ideally suited to people in regional areas who are unable to attend weekly classes.

During this class you will create one leadlight panel and learn all the essential skills including glass cutting, lead forming and soldering.

No previous experience is necessary.

Sunday 9.30am - 5.00pm
These classes are scheduled only when we have sufficient expressions of interest. If you provide your details we will contact you when the class is scheduled.

The Cost
Tuition cost for the full day class is $220.

You will need your own oil-filled glass cutter, grozing pliers, lead dyke, polishing brush and lathekin, all of which are available here at our workshop. The cost of these is $90.

The cost of materials for the set class project is $35.
